Our Precision Medicine Scotland Azure Tenancy allows users to store, access, and manage their workspace data and applications in a flexible and controlled manner, leveraging our administration and specialist data management services.
Overview
When you use our cloud services, your data and applications are stored on our OCRE (Open Clouds for Research) Framework Azure Tenancy, allowing you to access data and applications in a flexible and scalable environment, whilst taking advantage of PMS-IC’s ability to provision de-sensitised data from our Healthcare Landing Zone.
Cloud hosted workspaces can include a wide range of applications and tools, file storage, collaboration software, and virtual machines allowing users to work remotely and access data and applications from anywhere. This approach allows for a simplified workspace infrastructure and ensuring users only pay for what they use on a subscription basis.
Our Cloud services are centred around our Core TRE provision, offering a flexible, secure, sophisticated and powerful data analysis platform for our partners and researchers. An overview of the platform detailing the researcher journey is shown below.
The flexibility of the Core TRE allows integration with other applications and capabilities such as mirroring of Git based code repositories to enable ingress of off-platform code development, and the enablement of large image integration through our image workflow capability as demonstrated in the following video.
