Precision Medicine Scotland is ideally placed to handle large data sets including PACS, Pathology, Genomic and Image data that are generated from various sources. This data is often unstructured, requiring specialised software and hardware tools to store and process data efficiently. We have built a large and powerful hosting platform with sophisticated storage and processing capabilities (including GPU), that has been further enhanced by the establishment of our flexible cloud capability.
PMS-IC’s capabilities and tools can help with tasks such as data integration, data cleaning and data mining, which are essential for making sense of large and complex data sets.
